The best time to visit Ladakh is in summer between April and June. The weather is pleasant and the snow has melted.  The Manali-Leh highway is not functional in the rest of the year and the Srinagar-Leh highway gets affected by sporadic landslides.

How to Reach to Leh Ladakh

Tourists need to remember Ladakh is inaccessible during some months of the year.  The highways get cut-off can get blocked by snow.  If you want to travel by road you can take a bus or cab from Manali or Srinagar.

You can fly down to Ladakh throughout the year. The flight schedule can be changed due to unpredictable weather patterns, especially in winter. The closest airport to Ladakh is   Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport. The airport is connected to several major cities in the country. From the airport, you can hire a cab to your final destination.
